Mosaics in the Heavens

Inside the Church of the Savior on Spilled Blood in St. Petersburg, Russia, my lens pointed heavenward to capture a breathtaking view of the intricate ceiling. Using a Canon 14mm L series lens, I framed a dizzying array of mosaics, illuminated by a play of shadows and direct light. The complexity of the scene is awe-inspiring, with layers of artistry and spirituality.
