This is a very wide shot of the Potala Palace on a crisp morning soon after sunrise. Steve and I continually marveled at just how incredibly blue the skies were in Tibet. I think they are the most beautiful blue skies I have seen anyplace in the world. Photo © copyright by Rich Voninski.
