This expansive panorama captures the Longji Rice Terraces in Ping'an, Guangxi, China. The image reveals a close-up of a muddy, water-filled area, prepared for the upcoming planting season. Created from 14 stitched images, it showcases the vastness of these terraces, known as the Dragon's Backbone. In late May, as the terraces flood and fill by June 20, laborers toil tirelessly to prepare for the short planting window, a cycle of hard work repeating year after year.
