Twisted Trees
Mount Huangshan, China
Amidst the well-trodden paths of Mount Huangshan, I found inspiration in the often-overlooked details of its forests. This image showcases a cluster of uniquely twisted trees, their forms telling stories of nature's artistry. While hordes of tourists hurried past, I paused to capture this distinctive perspective. Surprisingly, not a single person in the throng of 100-200 fellow travelers stopped to appreciate the same beauty I saw in these trees. Photo © copyright by Rich Voninski.
