Death Valley National Park, California

During a camping trip with my Mom and Dad in Death Valley National Park, I used my Ebony 4x5 camera with TMAX film to capture this shot. As I composed the image, my Mom alerted me to a tarantula quickly heading towards my open camera bag, making it his potential new home. Shortly after, my Dad called me over to see a pygmy rattlesnake. It was an eventful and unforgettable wildlife encounter amidst the stunning landscapes of Death Valley.
