Aspens in Fall Snowstorm
Ashcroft, Colorado
On a crisp autumn day near Ashcroft, Colorado, my friend Rene and I stumbled upon this picturesque spot. The previous night's snowfall had blanketed the landscape, creating a chilly but enchanting scene. This composition beautifully juxtaposes the snow with the vibrant aspen trunks and their brilliant yellow leaves. Captured using a Wisner 4x5 camera and Fuji Velvia film, the image captures the stunning contrast between the fresh snow and the warm, golden hues of the aspen foliage.
