Elephant Seal and Pup
South Georgia Island
This image, captured on South Georgia Island using a Sony 100-400mm lens, portrays a heartwarming moment between a young elephant seal pup and its attentive mother. The pup, lying on its back, gazes curiously at the lens, while its mother, standing close by, looks on protectively. The bond between the pair is palpable, illustrating the tender and nurturing relationship within the natural habitat of these magnificent creatures in the remote landscapes of South Georgia Island.
