As I wandered through the labyrinthine medina of Essaouira, Morocco, my lens captured this scene. It reveals another narrow alleyway, lined with a succession of blue doors set against the calm backdrop of concrete walls. The doors, each with their own unique story, beckon us to explore deeper into the heart of the ancient city.
