Riverside Hideaway
Eagleville Covered Bridge, Shushan, New York
From the vantage point of my drone's bird's-eye view, I captured the Eagleville Covered Bridge in Shushan, New York State. Spanning the tranquil waters of the Battenkill River, the bridge stood as a testament to the passage of time. On both sides, the lush deciduous forests of New England embraced the scene, their vibrant hues framing the bridge's weathered charm. Amidst this idyllic setting, a rope swing dangled invitingly, promising refreshing dips on scorching summer days. It was a view that spoke of simple pleasures, a picturesque escape where the river's gentle whispers and the rustling leaves created an image of contentment. Photo © copyright by Rich Voninski.
