Worn Elegance

El Jadida, Morocco

In the heart of El Jadida, Morocco, I stumbled upon a doorway that whispered stories of time passed. The aged, worn metal door, with its rustic orange hue, stood as a sentinel to memories etched into its very being. Surrounding it, a checkered floor bore witness to countless footsteps. To the left, pastel colors of blue and yellow hinted at faded grandeur, while on the right, only the resilient blue remained. Despite the wear and tear of time, this place exuded a quiet, enduring strength—a testament to the enduring spirit of Morocco. Photo © copyright by Rich Voninski.
