Desert Patchwork

Saguaro National Park, Tucson, Arizona

With my trusty Mamiya 7 and Fuji Velvia 50 film, I found myself at Saguaro National Park in Tucson, Arizona. From the visitor center, I gazed out, transfixed. The pavilion's shadows danced, creating a striking zebra-like pattern across the scene. But within this dramatic display, a unique vignette formed – a window to the captivating Sonoran desert. Its grandeur revealed, adorned with magnificent Saguaro cacti and framed by rugged mountains. Nature's artistry, etched in light and shadow, painted a tapestry of the desert's raw, untamed beauty.
