In the historic halls of Mission San Carlos Borromeo del Río Carmelo, this photograph captures a solitary wooden chair bathed in soft, inviting light. The hallway stretches gracefully to the right, crowned by a slanted roof. Beyond the chair, an door beckons down the hallway, revealing the secrets of the mission's past. This image, captured with meticulous detail, invites viewers to ponder the stories held within the mission's ancient walls.
