Tranquil Dreamers
Antarctic Peninsula
Captured on the Antarctic Peninsula, "Tranquil Dreamers" offers a heartwarming glimpse into a rare moment of respite for two southern elephant seals. In this captivating photograph, the seals rest side by side, their faces turned towards me. One seal yawns, revealing its impressive jaws, while the other seems to offer a contented smile. This peaceful scene reflects the tranquility of their slumber against the backdrop of the frigid landscape. "Tranquil Dreamers" captures a moment of connection and serenity in the lives of these majestic creatures in the heart of Antarctica. Photo © copyright by Rich Voninski.
