Mont Saint Michel in Earth Shadow

On this evening at Mont Saint Michel in Normandy, I witnessed a memorable "earth shadow" stretching across the horizon. With my longest lens in hand, I captured this mesmerizing image. The monastery itself gleamed in golden hues, surrounded by a captivating palette of pinks and blues. Notably, the tiny specks surrounding the monastery were not dirt on my lens, but the multitude of birds constantly soaring around this iconic landmark. Photo © copyright by Rich Voninski.
