Autumn's High Country Palette
Crystal Lake, San Juan Mountains, Colorado
Hovering above the San Juan Mountains of Colorado, my drone lens captured a spectacular scene. Crystal Lake lay serenely below, its crystal blue waters mirroring the heavens above. Alongside, Highway 550 carved its path northward. The highlight, though, was the aspen trees, dressed in their autumn finest, their leaves an explosion of vibrant yellow. This tableau of nature's artistry unfolded beneath me, a symphony of colors and reflections that evoked the essence of a high country autumn.
