Confessions aside, I'm a sucker for staircases. This photograph is yet another testament to returning for that perfect shot. Challenges and obstacles peppered the path, but eventually, the cross members and pipes blended seamlessly. They weave a narrative that guides us upward through the frame, bridging the gap to the upper floors. Captured within the walls of the Boot Cotton Mills in Lowell, Massachusetts, the image resonates with a utilitarian and industrial ambiance, a tribute to function meeting artistry.
