Cormorant Fisherman

In my third encounter with the 84-year-old cormorant fisherman on the Li River, I aimed to portray the unique bond between man and bird. This close-up shot captures the essence of their partnership. Perched on his fishing raft, the elderly fisherman and his cormorant are a testament to tradition. The raft and equipment are authentic, preserving a way of life passed down through generations.
