Amidst the historic charm of Vilnius, Lithuania, I encountered this striking visual tableau. The cross-section of an ancient window and door displayed an exuberant tapestry of weathered colors. The once-bold shades of blue, green, orange, and brown had gracefully matured over the years. Each hue whispered stories of generations that had called these old homes their own.
