Rice Terraces in Transition

Captured on Fuji Velvia 50 film with my Wisner 4x5 view camera and Schneider 110mm XL lens, this image portrays the dynamic cycle of rice cultivation. In the foreground, towering rice terraces are partially submerged as new plants take root, while in the distance we see a massive flooded rice terrace. This photograph beautifully illustrates the ever-changing landscape of the Philippines' rice terraces, where nature and agriculture harmoniously coexist. Photo © copyright by Rich Voninski.
