Island Amidst the Greens

Shot on Fuji Velvia 50 film, this image was captured along the route leading into the mountainous rice terrace regions of the Philippines. The photograph showcases a landscape with a multitude of lush green terraces. However, what truly stands out is the small "island" of homes, resembling a village that emerges like an oasis amidst the rice terraces. Taken with a Wisner 4x5 camera and Schneider 110mm XL lens, a closer look reveals intriguing details, including three people enjoying a dip in the stream to the right of the village.
