The Philippines is an extraordinary canvas for photographers, and I eagerly anticipate exploring more of its picturesque landscapes. From the bustling streets of Manila to the pristine beaches of Palawan, this nation offers diverse settings for every photographic journey. However, I find it nearly impossible to resist the allure of the northern Luzon mountain provinces, where the mesmerizing rice terraces, including those in Bontoc, Sagada, Banaue, Mount Data, and the Batad rice terraces, have etched themselves as some of my all-time favorite photographic subjects. These terraces, a testament to human ingenuity, beckon with their timeless beauty and cultural significance, making the Philippines an unending wellspring of inspiration for photographers like me.
